چکیده
The objective of this work is to compare the mechanical performance concrete beams reinforced with convention reinforcement (iron) and oppositifolius mallotus wood a view building an innovative construction system for habitable or non-habitable floors pavilions in rural areas. For fact, nine (09) specimens section 10x10x40cm3 were made at rate three (03) unreinforced Mallotus (vegetable reinforcement) without prior treatment conventional which subjected four-point bending test after twenty-eight (28) age. At end tests, it was found that frame improves strength compared achieving reinforcement. We also note lower arrow beams. A visual analysis (plant frame) total rupture shows us need treat surface make rougher order increase its adhesion concrete. thus retain possibility using as vegetal social housing areas waterproofing treatment.

Experimental Study and Modeling of Reinforced Concrete Beams Strengthened by Post-Tensioned External Reinforcing Bars
The utilization of unbounded external reinforcing bars is one of the strengthening methods used after loading stage and before failure. The method has been used in different forms to strengthen members of reinforced concrete structures. To investigate the effect of utilization of post-tensioned reinforcing bars in this method of strengthening, a number of reinforced concrete beams was tested. S...
متن کاملReliability evaluation of reinforced concrete beams
The purpose of this paper is to evaluate the time-invariant reliability of reinforced concrete beams designed under the provisions of the ACI Building Code. A wide range of practical design situations is considered. The beams are subjected to bending, shear, and torsion. The interaction between shear and torsion is considered via an elliptical failure surface defined in the shear-torsion stress...
